Survey - Paul Lake Boat Launch

Good morning KFFA Members,

BC Parks proposed an update to their Paul Lake Master Plan at our Mediation in 2020. Urban Systems has worked with BC Parks and the first part of this process is the Survey that is due on August 15th.

The attached Poster provides a bar code link a clickable link to the survey as wel. I have repeated the link here https://helpshapebc.gov.bc.ca/paul-lake-park-management-planning-project .

Your Paul Lake Boat Launch Committee ask that you complete the questions in this survey ASAP and that under question #10 check off “Remove bollards from existing boat launch during shoulder season (ice off in spring to June 30 and Labour Day to Ice on). We believe this is a reasonable approach & your Committee has suggested this solution several times.

Completing this survey is very important for us in resolving our Human Rights Complaint.

PLEASE FORWARD TO OTHER ANGLERS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO THE KFFA.

If you have any questions feel free to contact Committee Members as follows;

Thank you and stay safe.

Tight lines.

Thill
Batons at boat launch at Paul lake park boat launch.

Driving home today I dropped down to the boat launch and there has been an interesting development. The three large batons which are shown in your photo of the boat launch have been removed and replaced by three considerably smaller batons which are on cement pads and sunk into the sand. The middle one has a lock on the bottom which would allow it to be removed thus an ability to back your trailer in and launch your boat. I live at Pinantan lake so someone has done this work very recently.
